HOW DO I FUNDRAISE SELLING FIREWORKS?

I Know A Guy Fireworks offers two ways to earn money and also a way for students to earn volunteer hours.

TO EARN MONEY:

​

• GATHER YOUR GROUP AND SELL FIREWORKS

  • Fireworks tents are available twice a year over the 4th of July + New Year’s Eve

  • You and your volunteers will donate time to operate a tent and sell fireworks for 5-7 days

  • You will need between 3-5 volunteers per day working 6-8 hours. (Number of volunteers vary based on tent size and location)

  • You may attend our pre-season training and demonstration to learn how to sell fireworks + experience the current season’s product or we are available to train on opening day.

  • You are encouraged to create excitement around your personal group you are fundraising for by working with our marketing team to create signage and promote your fundraising efforts.  You may also ask for additional donations at your site at time of purchase.  I Know A Guy Fireworks will also promote your fundraising group on the website and social media channels.

  • Groups that have worked with us in the past have raised on average $3500+ per season

  • Running a fireworks stand at your charity/school location with I Know A Guy guarantees a $500 scholarship recipient for your school or charity

• PRE-SELL FIREWORKS

  • Your Pre-Sell Coupons and/or Product Order forms will be provided by I Know A Guy Fireworks four weeks prior to season opening

  • Your coupons/products will be available for sale increments of $25, $50 + $100 (can create unique dollar amounts/or add product upon request)

  • You will assign the coupons/product order forms to volunteers to sell on behalf of your organization and track final results in a form provided by I Know A Guy Fireworks

  • Your coupons will be valid for use for one season only and for sale until the opening day of location sales for that season

  • Your coupons may be redeemed at any I Know A Guy Fireworks location in the valley for full retail value (For example, $25 coupon can be redeemed for $25 in fireworks)

  • Money collected for coupons not redeemed for the purchase of fireworks will be directly donated to your charity at 75% and to the I Know A Guy Scholarship Fund at 25%.

  • I Know A Guy Fireworks will provide Firework donations for the top sales prizes such as assortments, fountains, 500 Gram fountain, gift certificates and apparel

  • All unsold coupons must be returned to I Know A Guy Fireworks

  • Any lost or stolen coupons will be deducted from the final tent sales for full retail value

  • Sales training and scripts for selling coupons will be provided by I Know A Guy Fireworks

TO EARN VOLUNTEER HOURS:

• VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME

  • Apply online

  • Make yourself available to work at any of our fireworks locations pre, during or post fireworks season

  • Track your hours by clocking in and out of I Know A Guy Fireworks time clock app provided

  • I Know A Guy Fireworks will provide you with a Certificate of Volunteer Hours within two weeks following a fireworks season and/or your final volunteer day.

HOW DO I FUNDRAISE WITH CAP’N TRASK’S and HIS HAUNTED SHIP?

• SELL TICKETS TO YOUR EXCLUSIVE HAUNTED SHIP EXPERIENCE TAILORED JUST FOR YOU

  • Gathering your friends, family, classmates, teammates to walk through a Haunted Ship – just be careful not to walk the PLANK!

  • I Know A Guy Fireworks will provide you an exclusive event night for your charity to raise money 

  • I Know A Guy Fireworks will provide a website link created just for your charity and will collect payments on your behalf

  • You pick the date + time anytime from October 1st - October 30, 

  • Invitation will be provided to easily invite your fundraisers via email and/or evite

  • Create awareness and excitement leading up to the event and then watch your treasure fill up.

  • All proceeds go to your charity.

  • Carnival opportunities are also available on site for a small fee including up to 10 games, prizes, music + costume contest with prizes donated by Magic Art.

  • Our groups can earn an average $500-$1500 per event depending upon agreed upon ticket prices.
